Return of the Mac
contain noticing you don’t have something yet, you will continue to
attract NOT having it yet. You must believe you have it already.”-The Secret
I’ve been in a struggle within the recent past. It’s the reason why
this site began in the first place, but the point is, I’m back. I
guess I’m at a crossroads: angry because I’ve had no time nor
inspiration to write. Yet, I’m very grateful that there is actually
money in my pocket to catch up on…my life and I actually feel like,
I’m back. In the interim I’ve been listening to an audio book
given to me MONTHS ago, that I tossed aside figuring its some “Dr.
Phil” crap. It is, but this “Dr. Phil” crap is changing my crappy
life. The audio book is entitled “The Secret”, originally started as
a book and moved later on to DVD and audio book.
In every end of year horoscope for the year 2007, my 2008 predictions
matched amongst EVERY horoscope I’ve checked, and thus far have rang
and proven true. It’s only the ending of the 6 month mark of the year
2008. Every thing came together as this being my year. The year of
reconstruction, or better yet, restoration. Upon the beginning of 2008
The Significant and I have gone under massive restoration processes to
correct major damages that went underway in 2007. Currently, we’re
blissful. We communicate so much easier, and with the occasional
expected disagreement unlike 2007, these “disagreements” don’t
carry on for WEEKS at a time. I got a permanent job, and a car. A car
that I did crash on Saturday afternoon on the Southern State parkway,
but due to God’s graces no one was injured-including both vehicles. So
many people and things that stood as such firm obstacles, breaking me
down CONSTANTLY have been reduced to such fractions and I attribute this
all to, “The Secret”. I’m budgeting my time, finally.
I’m learning that, we’re all together but simultaneously all
separate. Just because other people are miserable, you don’t have to
be miserable with them. There is so much that we attract to ourselves,
and bring down upon ourselves without even realizing it. A lot of this
stems from us being so ungrateful for the things we DO have. I’m
noticing that many things in reference to my tarot have already come to pass or are in the pathway of coming to pass.
Knowing that I’ve rocked the boat with some of my readers, I want to
slowly but surely get back into the niche of who I am. I want to get
back into the niche of how I write. I’ve been taking everything as it
comes to me, not suppressing them as I did during 2007 resulting in
SEVERAL massive blow outs. For the first time, in over a year I feel
like I’m truly…back. I feel like the Mac has returned. Within the next
3 weeks I’m aiming to purchase real hosting, and in the event that I
get the help I seek, really step my game up.
“Be prepared for your luck.” I guess that’s how I feel right now.
Some have advised against it, giving me all sorts of negative reasons
like “your site isn’t that serious for you to be purchasing
hosting…” I’m preparing for my luck and what better way to do so
than to do the necessary background work that one day I might get
flooded with site views. I’ll be in Jamaica for two weeks come August,
and while laying on the sand I’ve already made plans for a writing
schedule since I’ll have two weeks to dedicate to my blogging. With
all the stress I endured over the last year, especially in the midsts of
graduating from college, I attracted the weight because I attracted the
sickness that caused the weight gain. As unhappy as I’ve been with the
weight gain, I’ve come to re-love my body as what its become and
because I appreciate it, I’m able to now work on it in a positive way.
No more crash dieting and I’ve been speed walking in the heat 3-5 days
a week.
The Secret is all about changing your life by the easiest way
possible: The Law of Attraction.
See the things that you want, as already yours. Know that they will
come to you, at need. Then, let them come. Don’t fret and worry about
them. Don’t think about your lack of them, think of them as yours; as
belonging to you; as already in your possession. –Robert Callier
By slowly learning about it, and practicing I’m bringing the things I
want in life to myself and taking responsibility for the bad things in
life that I’m attracting as well.
“Your current thoughts are creating your FUTURE life. What you think
about the most and focus on the most will BECOME your life.”-The
Secret
“It’s the Return of the Mac…you knew that I’d be back.” And
indeed, it finally feels like I am.

Shaq disses Kobe?
Shaq dissing Kobe...
Here we go:
"Kobe, Tell Me How My Ass Tastes?"
Shaq Attacks Kobe: You Ruined My Marriage!
Making Moves
For any members of Tarot.com, you will receive a free 11-card Celtic cross, summer solstice reading. I am VERY big on tarot and astrology, so I did this one about my blogging future-something that's been in heavy contemplation on my brain these days. I'm not going to pretend that the accuracy of this did NOT freak me out, because it most certainly did...
Self: Six of Swords
Use a combination of technical skill and intuition to reach your goals.
The card in the Self position reveals aspects of how you perceive yourself right now.
When the Six of Swords is in this position, you are proving that you possess the skills to navigate challenging waters. You have equipped yourself with the tools and sensitivity to feel your way through obscure circumstances.
This card is traditionally called "science," referring to a cultivated grasp of the Laws of Nature and how to use them. You are able to feel the currents, tides and trends in this situation. Like a master sailor handling a boat, you are able to take advantage of forces at work and set your sails to take you to your goals. A combination of scientific skills and trained intuition promises to work well for you.
Situation: Seven of Cups
Make sensible choices based on self-knowledge.
The card that lands in the Situation position refers to social or circumstantial factors which could be affecting your life at this time.
When the Seven of Cups is in this position, you may be entering a climate of affirmation and opportunity, perhaps in direct contrast to what has gone before. It is as if you have broken into a clearing after hacking your way through a thicket. The possibilities are so lush it's almost embarrassing, although not all of them can be acted upon.
Be sensible. You have to know yourself well enough to determine which of all the available delights is truly for you and you alone. Take care not to be greedy in this situation. Sharpen your powers of discrimination, use your intuition, and follow your heart.
Challenges: Five of Cups
Make the best of what remains after adversity has set you back.
The card that lands in the Challenges/Opportunities position refers to ways that you can turn obstacles into stepping stones.
When the Five of Cups is in this position, maximize what is left after loss. The receiver of this card received copious potential in the five cups shown, but three of them have been upended and their contents spilled into the earth. Whether it was carelessness or destiny that spilled these cups isn't ultimately important.
What matters now is that the two full cups be tended and utilized as intelligently as possible. Resources can be built up and the core value of what was passed on can be cultivated again. You have this opportunity to make the best of what is left to you after a tumultuous upset. If you sink into depression about what is lost, you are going to get nowhere. Focus on the value that still remains, and make the best of it as optimistically as possible.
Foundation: Ten of Cups
Your inner wisdom tells you that love can indeed change the world.
The card in the Foundation position points to influences from your personal history, your roots and background.
The Ten of Cups in this position suggests that by way of your background, you have witnessed the indescribable joy that happens in people's hearts when they labor creatively and lovingly to cultivate and share the Good. Your role models created a blessing for everyone. As a result, you possess the inner certainty that a person can change the world with a persistent, faithful, optimistic labor of love.
This knowledge fuels you, even in situations where the world at large doesn't give much credence. Take the example given you and multiply it; inspire others to spread hope and be of service to the greater good. Now your dedication will also change things for the better.
Recent Past: Strength
You have passed a test of self-control and personal mastery. Now you can proceed with confidence.
The card in the Recent Past position refers to events that are just departing, recently influential but now diminishing in power.
See yourself as a sort of lion tamer -- in other words, as someone who is able to sublimate and channel their instincts and impulsive tendencies. You've gained significant self-esteem from the strong way you responded to pressure and necessity. You can be disciplined, focused and firm.
This new knowledge of your capability helps you step into the present with more self-assurance and confidence in your spiritual maturity. You have passed a test that stymies many. You deserve whatever recognition your efforts may have inspired.
Higher Power: King of Coins
Because of the high values you have stood for, your success is well deserved.
The card in the Higher Power position reflects the broader perspective and influence of your conscience, Guardian Angel, inner wisdom.
When the King of Coins comes up in this position, you are being acknowledged for a steadfast commitment to success. You deserve your success because you have followed through and taken responsibility for every step. The rewards you receive are well earned, no matter how generous they seem.
Continue representing the loftiest values by how you deploy those rewards. Your higher nature recognizes the progress you've made. You are earning your stripes and leaving the world a better place than when you came in.
Near Future: King of Cups
As you cultivate calm within yourself, you will gain a greater ability to see and understand.
The card in the Near Future position indicates which way the wind is blowing with regard to your situation. If you follow the Advice card, however, you can improve on or neutralize tendencies.
When the King of Cups is in this position, you are ready to embrace a higher state of awareness and evoke a greater sensitivity to more subtle aspects of life. Rewards are coming for which you labored long and hard.
They are not external or visible, however. Rather, these are emotional, psychic and spiritual rewards. As you enjoy their abundance, the resulting attunement can bring you into harmony and balance in a way that you once only fantasized about. Now it can truly be yours.
Enjoy this upcoming experience of peace, and as you do so, take careful notice of it so you can learn to reproduce it.
Inhibitions: Page of Swords
Don't allow yourself to duplicate the burdens or negativity of those around you.
The card in the Blocks position points to self-undermining tendencies, areas where you could be in denial, where you could get stuck -- unless you examine yourself and make some corrections.
When the Page of Swords (in some decks, a Princess) falls in this position, you are struggling with a negative viewpoint, focused on what could go wrong and where people might fail you. This is a truly defensive attitude. As you allow challenging people around you to influence your state of mind, you are beginning to resemble the very people you feel threatened by.
Don't allow the streak of suspicion and watchfulness in this card to become hyper-vigilance. If you begin to be edgy, feeling that at any moment a disaster could arise, put some distance between yourself and the situation. Indulge in experiences that don't produce fight or flight reactions. Just because we are sometimes in stressful and uncomfortable company doesn't mean we must become stressful, uncomfortable people. The best way to cope with those circumstances is to refuse to mirror them.
Allies: Two of Coins
An ally can help you gain insight into your situation.
The card in the Allies position points to people who can be supportive or helpful to you at this time.
In this position, the Two of Coins advises that you find somebody who will enter into a dialogue or role-play with you, or even serve as a "devil's advocate." This person should ideally have good information and experience in the area where you feel stuck or thwarted.
Be sure to consider both sides, including the positions of an adversary if you have one. Let your ally guide you through all the dimensions of the problem. This process may lead you to discover that the situation is not as serious as you thought. In any case, you want your ideas to be as grounded as possible.
Advice: Three of Cups
Call your family together to support you and trust that the results will be just what you need.
The card in the Advice position suggests a course of action which will harmonize what you want with what is currently possible.
The Three of Cups in this position advises that you connect with your family and fully inform them about what's going on with you. Let them add substance to your ideas with their talent and imagination.
Think of this occasion as a barn raising, where their support helps you make quick work of a big job. There may be something here for everyone to contribute. Put yourself in the loving hands of your family connections and your trust will be rewarded. The synergy between you could enhance each individual's talent and creativity.
Long Term Potential: The Magician
What may have felt like a whim or passing fancy has the potential to grow into a creative, expressive and profitable venture.
The card in the Long-term Potential position points to unknowns still taking shape. It is the "wild card" yet to be played.
You are faced with an opportunity to create a whole new area in your life. Something that was lingering in the background has leaped forward and helped you reassess your priorities, hopes and dreams. It feels as if a missing ingredient is emerging that can complete the mix.
As you become aware of your interest and enthusiasm, it also dawns on those around you that you may hold the key to this situation. It's possible you will rethink career opportunities or find a new channel of expression. This could lead to a whole new sense of identity.
On the note of that, I'm ready to create that whole new opportunity.
The New Jack is about to be the only Jack available-I'm buying my own domain and hosting.

Babydoll Management
BabydollKissez.com gives you the business...
With my recent display of writings, suffering from my own time management maybe this will help you as much as it helped me:
"Two things more valuable than money in this day and age is Time and more Time. People are always complaining of not having enough time. being in a rush and so forth. Time is money, so what can you do to make your day most productive?
Start you day of right!
How do you start your day off? You do know that the beginning could be the end so start it off right. Ever had a bad morning and its followed its way through? Well that's what I mean. I normally start my day off with meditation lets keep it fresh, I don't sit with candles and incense burning chanting "hum rey yum" I don't have time for that I just take 5-10 minutes in silence just to be still and think, sometimes I think of tasks I wish to complete and then I take time to show gratitude. I actually find when I don't do this, the rest of the day I'm running around like an unorganised headless chicken. Most of us really underestimate the power of just sitting and being still for a while. Being still really helps to clear your thoughts......
So ....Book a date with yourself!
Regardless of the time of the day, have 10-20 minutes just to sit and think, if you want to jot down notes of things you have to do then do that. This will help you to focus, you will have time to concentrate and remember all tasks you wish to complete and ways in which to do so. Therefore in action you will be most productive, already having run through your tasks.
Everyone has a peek time within there day. You know a time where you find your self most active, most enthusiastic etc. Are you a morning person? An afternoon person? An evening person? Which ever you identify with, do your most important tasks within this period while you are switched on and ready to go. Doing them at your peek points and not your tedeious will make the most difficult tasks easier to bear.
Cancel Interruptions!
This especially applies to those that work at home, if you have been working all day (whether office or home) have a small gateway period where the phone is plugged out mobiles switched off do not check your email just chill. Break off for a moment and do you. Avoid prolonging this for too long (you don't want people to be worry about you lol.)
Most of all Have a Purpose for your day
Try to get something from each day. Make sure you do one great thing each day no matter how big or small just great.
Lastly....Laugh!
Have fun with your day keep it funky. Be realistic stuff happens and the slightest thing can put a damper on your day but you are the only one in control of your emotions, so regardless of the exterior impacts or people around you make sure your smiling keep your spirits up and things will turn out fine. Things never seem so bad when your smiling and when your having fun the day goes quicker. Ask yourself do you see your glass half empty or Half full ;-)
See I started with asking what can you do to make your day most productive, but what you have to understand is in order to be most productive your personal self awareness and well-being has to be in check. So when asking about being most productive its really about self management rather than task management. As long as your head is clear, you will find most other things in life follow through.
I hope this helps. QueenB.D
xoxoxo"

Sit Down, You're Rocking the Boat
Even though one might be paying attention, sometimes you need someone to tell you about the damage you're doing...
Thursday night I received a piece of fan mail, that struck a chord with me. It struck a chord simply because it was the TRUTH. What I appreciate more than anything, is even though the truth might sting, my readers are as blunt if not worse than I am but always CLASSY about it simultaneously. Something I myself, adhere to being. You can speak the truth, and sting someone but if its done in such a manner of class, anyone who has evolved with a 21st century human backbone wouldn't take too much offense.
I'm rocking my readers' boats. Something they aren't too thrilled about. I've watched the page views skyrocket and simultaneously, I've watched the comments decrease...
This month, June 2008 has oddly enough been the most amount of page views I've EVER received since beginning "The New Jack" and yet, my subscriber count is heading the EXACT opposite direction. Niecey saw it fit to drop an apple on my head as to why....
"As of late, however, I have been a little disappointed. Girl you are extremely talented and I want more out of your blog than you're giving these days. Call me selfish or a fiend, I just appreciate good writing and yours is def one that I appreciate and I admire your work actually. I know you had taken an extensive break from the blog scene and said you would explain, I was anticipating that but seemingly, it was never posted. I know you are extremely busy and although I don't know you I am so happy that you are doing your thing! But I feel neglected as a faithful reader of your blogs. "
I'm ashamed...not hurt in the least, ashamed because I completely agree on the truth.
For anyone who has seen the musical, "Guys and Dolls" there is a song called "Sit down, You're Rocking The Boat". ("Guys and Dolls" is my favorite musical of all time. ) The song is a warning to one of the characters of the musical about his actions on his boat ride to heaven:
"I dreamed last night I got on the boat to heaven
And by some chance I had brought my dice along
And there I stood
And I hollered "Someone fade me"
But the passengers, they knew right from wrong.
For the peopel all said sit down, sit down, you're rockin' the boat
People all said sit down
Sit down you're rockin' the boat.
And the devil will drag you under
By the sharp lapel of your checkered coat,
Sit down, sit down, sit down, sit down,
Sit down you're rockin' the boat."-{source, bitches}
All Niecey wanted to do was warn me about messing up on my ride to heaven. When I started "The New Jack", to say I was in a rut was an understatement. I graduated from college with my B.A. in Music and just completed my internship thinking I had the world in the palm of my hand to conquer. Here I am world, Music Industry and Record labels, here I come. I was greeted by a VERY rude awakening. I spiraled into depression, miserable that I was unemployed for 7 months, had gotten arrested with my friend and was in turmoil between my family and The Significant. My dreams had collapsed in front of me and I said to myself-"here it is, the realization that you're going to be one of those people who loved music and entertainment with all your heart but you're going to be that old person that explains to the young ones how you never made it". And I contemplated suicide several, several times.
My mentor, Nancy, saw what was underway and said it again. "Start writing-just start with a blog. You're so crazy, someone is bound to read it, because you need your own reality TV show" I never took her seriously, but in the midsts of just needing to flood my feelings to someone who CARED, I just did. And I was honest, about everything and I will continue to be honest.
This site, these writings, you people who have read, subscribed, commented, or simply page viewed have saved my life from a very, very dark corner. I've been beyond exhausted-I've just gotten a permanent job after these months of unemployment, just bought a car, trying to correct double digit thousands of debt to catch up on from the hard times and suffering from Iron deficiency anemia and Hypoglycemia simultaneously has been kicking my royal ass. But this isn't my job, this site...
It's my life.
I intend to move from the job I have one day with the funding for this site and my own music and fashion magazine. I'm a "life journalist". The New Jack site, is about life-my life, your life, entertainment life, music life, sad life, healthy lives...-those are the niches.
"And if you don't know, now you know"
It's time for me to get back on the ball....I agree with you Niecey and I apologize to any readers I've left more Damaged than Danity Kane because I've noticed your warning signals. An e-mail, helps. It put everything in perspective for me. If I'm ever needed to be reached, the e-mail for this site is:
The feedback was beyond appreciated...don't worry, I won't be rocking the boat anymore...
Love always,
Your friendly neighborhood

Ashanti, The Declaration
"At first glance, Ashanti seems to have the ingredients needed to be a legitimate, top-tier R&B diva — the designer-clad look, a platinum-selling pedigree and a resonant, if not booming, voice. But big name soul sisters such as Mary J. Blige, Mariah, or Beyonce need not look over their shoulders. Despite Ashanti's attributes, it's hard to identify what sets her apart.
On her fourth solo album, "The Declaration," Ashanti operates without frequent collaborator Ja Rule or her former mentor/producer Irv Gotti. Instead, she attempts to assert her own identity. Yet the disc doesn't manage to break any new ground, with Ashanti singing mainly over unremarkable contemporary R&B tracks about her own good loving and cheating boyfriends. The single, "The Way That I Love You" — and its revenge fantasy video — shows Ashanti's potential, with the track's tumbling piano notes and her belted vocals that exhibit believable anguish.
But the woman-scorned sentiment grows tiresome when revisited on the synth-pop of "Your Gonna Miss" and again on the anthemic high-pitched keys of the Rodney Jerkins-produced "So Over You." Meanwhile, her forays into sexy-soul territory ("Good Good" and "Body On Me" with Akon and Nelly) seem to undermine the good-girl balladry ("Mother" and "Shine") tacked on near disc's end. On the disc's intro she states, "I'm declaring me." But next time out, she'll need to dig deeper to reveal a more evolved Ashanti."
CHECK OUT THIS TRACK: Ashanti ups her hot-girl quotient a notch, professing to be "the bad girl that loves to get in trouble" while Robin Thicke adds his breathy falsetto to the sultry "Things You Make Me Do."- CHINA DAILY
